The flame is yellow, with black smoke, scorched but not dripping, and will give off a special cinnamon smell. The addition of flame retardants can transform ABS into flame retardant materials, which guarantees the safety and fire resistance of finished parts; at the same time, it has low smoke during combustion and reduces environmental pollution.

The development direction of flame-retardant ABS is flame-retardant multifunctionalization, such as flame-retardant impact resistance, flame-retardant foam, flame-retardant weather resistance and flame-retardant heat resistance. All in all, high-performance ABS resin not only meets the high-performance requirements of products, improves the application level and competitiveness of products, and expands the application fields of products.

However, in order to achieve high performance, it is difficult to achieve the performance of ABS resin alone, only through the alloying of ABS, especially ABS resin with polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) , Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyurethane (PU) and other engineering plastics can be alloyed.
