November is the low season for traditional consumption, and the price of recycled PVC (5810, -5.00, -0.09%) market is also weak. “The peak season is not prosperous, and the low season has come” makes most of the recycled manufacturers feel empty and their overall trading enthusiasm is weak. At present, the market has not seen any boosting atmosphere, and it is expected that the current downturn will continue in the short term.

The overall atmosphere of the decline in the market price is weak

Since mid to late July, the overall market atmosphere of recycled PVC has been deadlocked, and most of the offers remain weak and stable. The actual transactions are negotiated flexibly based on the order situation, and the recycling manufacturers are not enthusiastic about trading, and their offer mentality is also weak. In this week, the price of some recycled PVC products failed to withstand the suppression of new materials, and then fell. 

For example, the price of Hebei Baoding White Plastic Steel’s national standard first grade water washing crushing material has been lowered by 50 yuan/ton to 4300-4400 yuan/ton, the price of Jiangsu soft crushing material white sofa film has been lowered by 500 yuan/ton to 4300-4500 yuan/ton, the price of white transparent particles of different quality has also been lowered by 100-200 yuan/ton, and ordinary particles are 5900-6000 yuan/ton. 

At this stage, the overall mentality of the recycling manufacturers is empty. In particular, some high-quality white transparent particles have become inversely linked to the price of new materials, showing a certain reverse substitution effect. Some downstream manufacturers have turned to new materials for production, further weakening the demand of the recycling market.

From the perspective of several factors affecting the market, the overall supply of the fundamentals is currently oversupply, and most regeneration manufacturers have sufficient inventory levels, but the enthusiasm of downstream suppliers is not high. As the weather gets colder, some manufacturers in northern regions will gradually reduce production according to the market and weather conditions, and the trading atmosphere will be more sluggish. In terms of new materials, the market is full and empty, market participants are cautious, and prices are expected to continue to fluctuate. To sum up, the recycled PVC market will remain light in the short term.
