After more than 30 years of development, the Zhangmutou plastic market has transformed from a single focus on plastic trade in the past to an advanced base of “plastic trade+modified manufacturing”.

Currently, Dongguan has over 70000 plastic processing enterprises. With outstanding transportation location advantages and vast manufacturing hinterland advantages, Zhangmutou has become an important plastic trading hub in South China and even the whole country. The variety of plastic trading is complete, gathering nearly 8000 market entities, with an annual actual throughput of over 7.5 million tons and an annual actual trading scale of nearly 100 billion yuan, accounting for about one-third of the trading scale in the South China market It is one tenth of the national market and has business dealings with more than 80 countries worldwide, becoming a barometer for observing the plastic market nationwide and even globally.
